A 用some，any和no構成的復合詞都遵循上文所述規則：
Someone wants to speak to you on the phone.
有你的電話。
Someone/Somebody gave me a ticket for the pop concert.
有人給了我一張流行歌曲音樂會的門票。
No one/Nobody has ever given me a free ticket for anything.
從來沒有人給過我免費的什么票。
Do you want anything from the chemists?
你需要在藥店里買什么東西嗎?
Would anyone/anybody like a drink?
誰想喝一杯嗎?
注意：
I drink anything.
我喝什么都行。相當于：
I dont mind what I drink.
我不挑喝什么。
Anyone will tell you where the house is.
誰都會告訴你那所房子在哪兒。
B someone，somebody，anyone，anybody，no one，nobody可以有所有格形式：
Someones passport has been stolen.
有人的護照被偷了。
Is this somebodys/anybodys seat?
這座位有人坐嗎?
I dont want to waste anyones time.
我不想浪費任何人的時間。
C 代詞和所有格形容詞與someone，somebody，anyone，anybody，no one，nobody，everyone，everybody連用
所有這些詞語都具有單數的含義，因此要用單數動詞。因此，指代這些詞的人稱代詞和所有格形容詞按道理說也應是he/she，him/her，his/her，但在口語中復數形式更為普遍：
Has anyone left their luggage on the train?
有誰把行李丟在火車上了嗎?
No one saw Tom go out，did they?
沒有人看見湯姆出去，對嗎?
但在指something，anything，nothing時仍然用it：
Something went wrong，didnt it?
有什么地方出毛病了，是嗎?
