1 . attend on sb 照料某人，服侍某人。如：
Who will attend on the patient? 誰來護理病人?
He was attended on by a number of servants. 有好多傭人侍候他。
注：有時其中的介詞 on 可以省略。如：
He has two nurses attending him. 有兩位護士護理他。
2 . attend to
注意聽。如：
Attend now to what I tell you. 現(xiàn)在注意聽我給你講。

處理;辦理。如：
Ill attend to the matter. 這事我來處理。
