小熊維尼(Winnie the Pooh)可能是世上最廣為人知而又最可愛的小熊。1921年，一個叫克里斯托弗(Christopher)的小男孩在一歲生日時收到一只玩具熊。后來他為這只玩具熊找來一些小伙伴：屹耳、袋鼠媽媽和小豆、小豬、跳跳虎。1924年，克里斯托弗和動物園里叫維尼的黑熊成了好朋友，它的爸爸米爾恩(Alan Alexandra Milne，或常被簡稱為 A. A. Milne，英國作家，1882~1956)因此獲得靈感，以“小熊維尼”為主題創作了一系列家喻戶曉的故事書。
