　　易混淆的多義詞

　　1. bank 表示銀行;河岸。

　　2. tip 表示建議，例，some useful tips;小費(fèi)、給小費(fèi)，例，I tipped the man several dollars.尖、頂端，例，finger tip：指尖，常用習(xí)語(yǔ)：on the tip of ones tongue表示就在嘴邊卻一時(shí)想不起來(lái)。

　　3. awful 表示丑陋的、非常差的;但是awfully表示很、非常，例，awfully nervous：相當(dāng)緊張;awfully good：相當(dāng)好。

　　4. be worn out 表示筋疲力盡，例，I was completely worn out at the end of the day：那天要結(jié)束時(shí)，我徹底地疲憊不堪;襤褸的、破舊不堪的，例，After many years my shirt was worn out.

　　5. check 表示檢查、核實(shí)，check-in表示登機(jī)檢查;支票;
