四級(jí)聽(tīng)力與托福聽(tīng)力之比較
對(duì)試卷6月的四級(jí)考試聽(tīng)力部分分析后，有以下兩點(diǎn)明顯的命題趨勢(shì)，值得考生關(guān)注。
一、越來(lái)越接近托福考試
6月18號(hào)的四級(jí)聽(tīng)力的短對(duì)話部分至少有三道題幾乎照搬托福聽(tīng)力原題，對(duì)應(yīng)如下：
四級(jí)聽(tīng)力第2題：
W：I found an expensive diamond ring in the restroom this morning.
M：If I were you, I would turn in to the security office. It is behind the administration building.
對(duì)應(yīng)托福聽(tīng)力普林斯頓樣題三第3題
M：I found an expensive-looking ring in the locker room this morning.
W：If I were you, I would turn it in to the security office. It is behind the administration building.
四級(jí)聽(tīng)力第5題：
W：I just read in the newspaper that Lord of the Rings is this years greatest hit. Why dont we go and see it at the grand cinema.
M：Dont you think that cinema is a little out of the way?

除以上三題外，本次四級(jí)聽(tīng)力考試的其他短對(duì)話或多或少的都體現(xiàn)出托福聽(tīng)力的影子，丟東西撿東西場(chǎng)景、電腦場(chǎng)景、度假場(chǎng)景以及選校場(chǎng)景都是托福聽(tīng)力的常考場(chǎng)景，其中的一些場(chǎng)景詞匯和習(xí)慣用語(yǔ)也不斷被四級(jí)聽(tīng)力所引用。從四級(jí)真題來(lái)看，聽(tīng)力話題范圍也和托福聽(tīng)力也如出一轍――校園生活。
近三年的四級(jí)聽(tīng)力考題中更加明顯的體現(xiàn)出這樣的趨勢(shì)，改革后的四級(jí)試卷結(jié)構(gòu)更加接近于托福聽(tīng)力，增加的長(zhǎng)對(duì)話題型就來(lái)源于托福聽(tīng)力的part B部分，甚至改革后的四級(jí)考試記分體系都在向托福攏。
我在課上曾經(jīng)強(qiáng)調(diào)，在備考四級(jí)考試聽(tīng)力部分時(shí)，可以適當(dāng)參看95年8月以后的托福聽(tīng)力原文，熟悉托福聽(tīng)力場(chǎng)景，就有可能在四級(jí)聽(tīng)力考場(chǎng)上做到先知先覺(jué)。有很多同學(xué)擔(dān)心，托福考試的難度大于四級(jí)，怎么可能互相借鑒?別忘了聽(tīng)力難度有一個(gè)重要的控制指標(biāo)，語(yǔ)速。所以建議大家去看托福聽(tīng)力原文，而不是去聽(tīng)。
二、社科類文章越來(lái)越多
本次四級(jí)考試的三篇文章主題分別是未來(lái)的交通、英格蘭小鎮(zhèn)的文化習(xí)俗和國(guó)外的訂婚儀式，基本上都是介紹英美文化習(xí)俗的社科類文章，也就是說(shuō)四級(jí)考試中越來(lái)越多的涉及到英美文化背景，而這方面的知識(shí)也可以在托福聽(tīng)力中找到，比如：這次四級(jí)聽(tīng)力的第一個(gè)passage中提到的電動(dòng)汽車的應(yīng)用、未來(lái)交通設(shè)想等話題，托福聽(tīng)力98年1月PART C的第二個(gè)段落中就有提到。英美生活習(xí)俗的文章在托福聽(tīng)力PART C的文史類段落中都有出現(xiàn)，四級(jí)考生可以把托福聽(tīng)力的段落文章作為泛讀材料。
課上講的解題技巧在本次考試中應(yīng)用依然廣泛，首句原則應(yīng)用于第11題和14題，尾句原則應(yīng)用于第13、20題，只要把握住文章的開頭和結(jié)尾，這些題目迎刃而解。中間的題目，重要的是把握考點(diǎn)句型：原因句、轉(zhuǎn)折句和對(duì)比句都是考點(diǎn)，比如12題考的是文中對(duì)比句，19題考的是文中的原因句，平常訓(xùn)練時(shí)要多多留意這些考點(diǎn)句型，這樣在四級(jí)考試時(shí)就能做到有張有弛，重要的考點(diǎn)一個(gè)都不能少。
總之，四級(jí)聽(tīng)力考試在基本延續(xù)了以往的命題規(guī)律，增加了部分長(zhǎng)對(duì)話，量上看似增加了，但并沒(méi)有質(zhì)的改變。望同學(xué)能從中得以啟發(fā)，最終都考出滿意的成績(jī)!
