英語語法名詞性從句知識：應注意的兩個問題

　　一、詞序問題

　　名詞性從句總是用陳述句詞序，則不能使用疑問句詞序，尤其是當名詞性從句由疑問詞引導時，不能受疑問句的影響而誤用疑問句詞序：

　　誤：I didnt know where did he live.

　　正：I didnt know where he lived. 我不知道他住哪兒。

　　誤：Who will he marry remains unknown.

　　正：Who he will marry remains unknown. 他同誰結婚還不知道。

　　二、時態問題

　　由于由when引導的時間狀語從句和以if引導的條件狀語從句要用現在時表示將來意義，而不能直接使用將來時態，所以許多同學容易受此影響在when和if引導名詞性從句時也用現在時表示將來意義。請看幾題：

　　(1) I dont know if he ________ or not tomorrow.

　　A. come B. comes

　　C. will come D. is coming

　　此題答案選C，句中if引導的不是條件狀語從句(if如果)，而是賓語從句(if=是否)，句意為我不知道明天他是否會來。

　　(2) I dont know if she ________, but if she ________ I will let you know.

　　A. comes, comes B. will come, will come

　　C. comes, will come D. will come, comes

　　答案選 D，第一個 if 引導的是賓語從句，第二個 if 引導的是條件狀語從句。

　　(3) When he _____ is not known yet. But when he ____, he will be warmly welcomed.

　　A. comes, comes B. will come, will come

　　C. comes, will come D. will come, comes

　　答案選 D，第一個 when 引導的是主語從句，第二個 when引導的是時間狀語從句。

　　另外，當主句為過去時態時，賓語從句通常要用過去的某種時態與之呼應(表客觀真理時除外)：

　　The teacher told us that he knew everything. 老師告訴我們他知道一切。

　　The teacher told us that light travels faster than sound. 老師告訴我們光比聲音傳播得快。
