　　tough含義較多，其主要用法有：

　　1. 指身體強壯的、結(jié)實的。如：

　　He seems to bethe toughest of all the children. 他似乎是所有孩子中最結(jié)實的。

　　2. 指物體韌的。如：

　　This wire is tougher thanthat. 這條鐵絲比那條要韌。

　　3. 指肉硬的。如：

　　This meat is tough. 這肉吃不動。

　　4. 指事情或工作困難的。如：

　　Its tough findinga job these days. 近來很難找到工作。

　　This is tough work. 這是棘手的工作。

　　5. 指態(tài)度等強硬的、嚴厲的、不客氣的。如：
