牛津實用英語語法：105 否定疑問式

　　A 這一形式是在普通疑問式之后加上not而構成的：

　　Did you not see her?

　　你沒有看見她嗎?

　　Is he not coming?

　　他不來了嗎?

　　但這種形式幾乎總是變為縮略形式：

　　Didnt you see her?

　　Isnt he coming?

　　注意：not的位置是在主語之前。

　　am I not的縮略形式是不規則的，為arent I。

　　B 當說話人預期或希望得到肯定答語時，常用否定疑問式：

　　Havent you finished yet?

　　你還沒有結束嗎?

　　Dont you like my new dress?

　　你不喜歡我的新衣服嗎?

　　Child：Cant I stay up till the end of the programme?

　　孩子：我看完這個節目再去睡覺不行嗎?

　　I could wait ten minutes.

　　Couldnt you wait a little longer?

　　我可以等十分鐘。

　　你不能再多等一會兒嗎?

　　C 否定疑問式也可用在反意疑問句中的附加疑問中：

　　You paid him，didnt you?

　　你給他付過錢了，對嗎?

　　She would like to come，wouldnt she?

　　她想來，是嗎?
