中考易混詞匯辨析：few,a few,little,a bit

(1) few 和 a few 后接可數名詞，little 和 a little 后接不可數名詞。

(2) few 和 little 意為“很少，幾乎沒有”，表否定;a little 和 a few 意為“有幾個”，“有一點”，表肯定。

Eg: hurry up. There is little time left, 快點，沒有時間了。

Don’t worry. There is still a little time left. 別著急，還有一點時間。

He has few friends, so he is very lonely. 他幾乎沒有朋友，所以他感到很孤獨。 注意：only a little = little Only a few = few

當 a few 前有另一個形容詞或定冠詞修飾時，a 要去掉。 Eg: in the past few years . 在過去的幾年中。 Every few hundred meters 每隔幾百米。

(3) a little與a bit修飾形容詞和副詞時，兩者可以互換。 Eg: I am a little tired. = I am a bit tired. 我有一點累。

(4) a little與a bit的不同點：

修飾名詞時：a little + n. = a bit of + n.

表達否定時：not a bit = not at all 一點也不 Not a little = quite a little 許多
