這四個詞都含有“得到，獲得，達到(目的)”之意。
(1)acquire多指通過不斷地“學”、“問”等方式慢慢地獲取學問、技術等較抽象的東西。
(2)obtain表示經過相當長的時間或經過很大的努力，獲得期望已久的東西。
(3)gain含義較obtain進一層，表示付出更大的努力才能獲得，故常譯為“贏得”。
(4)get是使用最廣泛的一個詞，包含“有意努力去獲得”或“被動地得到”之意。【即時鞏固】
